History

Magdalena Urban-Raimondi started her career at a prestigious law firm in Schaumburg, Illinois as a legal intern and worked her way up to partner. Magdalena focused on family law. She found that she had a passion for family Law and enjoyed working with individuals to get what they deserve. She focuses in: Divorce & Separation Agreements, Property Distribution, Child Support, Custody & Visitation, Modification & Enforcement Post Divorce, Alimony, Order of Protection, and Prenuptial & Postnuptial Agreements. Choosing to focus in a field means that you are completely devoted to it; that you will protect it as if it were your own. That is the energy that sets her apart.

Urban Law Firm, LLC opened its doors in 2019. Since then, they've facilitated the success of several clients. Focusing on what their clients need and want out of each and every case. Founder

Magdalena “Meggie” Urban-Raimondi

Founder of Urban Law Firm, LLC, concentrates primarily in family, matrimonial and paternity law, representing clients in divorce, parentage, allocation of parental responsibilities (formerly known as custody), allocation of parenting time (formerly known as visitation), identification and division of marital and non-marital property, allocation of debts, and maintenance (formerly known as alimony) matters.  Meggie is recognized by her client's and peers as an experienced, compassionate, efficient, aggressive, passionate and trustworthy advocate for her clients.  She represents clients diligently from pre-litigation planning through and including settlement and/or Trial.

Born and raised in Poland, Meggie moved with her family to Illinois in  1996.  She is fluent in Polish and English.  Meggie is married to Giovanni, also an attorney, and in her free time, enjoys cooking, baking, traveling, and spending time with her family and friends. 

Meggie practices in Cook, DuPage, Kane, Lake, McHenry, Will, Boone, and Winnebago Counties, State of Illinois. 

Meggie is the Vice-Chair of the Family Law Section for the American Association for Justice (formerly, Association of Trial Lawyers of America) and previously served as Chair during 2015/2016.

Meggie was a partner at a prestigious law firm in the Chicagoland area.
